The Whiteside County Genealogists have published a book on the rural schools of Whiteside County. We have a copy here at the historical society. They have done an excellent job and have provided so many pictures of the old schools. It is worth every penny.
The cost is $38 if you pick the book up or they will mail for an additional $5.00. Checks should be made out to Whiteside County Genealogists (WCGS)
