looking for an obit maude greenman(foy)
The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

related to her somewhere down the line, just wondering if anyone knows where i can track her obit down. the info i have says she died in sutter cal. i've searched around and no luck. if anyone has any other info on my family, my great grandfather was glen greenman ,his parents were george &margaret(teach). any info would be very appriciated. thank you.

From my old Teach book:
George M. Greenman (farmer) b. 15 Sept. 1862 Fenton, IL. m. 1 Feb, 1883, Morrison, IL. d. 19 Apr. 1911 and burial Tampico, IL. Possible location of death, Drinkwater, Canada
Wife; Margaret Matilda Teach b. 11 Oct. 1862, Washington Co., MD. d. 17 Feb. 1955, Long Beach, CA.
Three Children; 1. Fred Lincoln 2. Lulu May 3. Glenn Elmer Greenman, b. 6 July, 1888 d. 1946 He m. 1914, Eva Gorr, whom d. 1930.
I'm all wrapped up in another family at the time, but will do some checking.

Maybe this will help...... I ran searches on the web site NewspaperArchives dot com, and did not find an obit for either of these two women.
1. Maude (Foy) Greenman. wife of John Greenman, and daughter of Austin Foy. If you do a search on her on this web site, you will find information about her.
2. Margaret Matilda Teach (as above) aka Maggie to friends and family, daughter of John Teach and Mary Ann Vandrew.
