Another Langford mystery. Sarah the daughter of Richard & Elizabeth Brewer Langford, married Porter C McDonald. He was the son of Thomas and Martha Perkins McDonald. I am looking for the death dates, burial place and hopefully obits of Sarah and Porter. Sarah was still alive in 1929 but her husband wasnt. She was at one time living with her only surviving child Eva (Dolly) Peterson, wife of Albert Peterson.
any help is appreciated

Hi Lynda, I haven't found anything on Sarah McDonald in the Gazette Index or ISA. Again, if you could provide some dates that would help define the specific person, it would be helpful. The ISA lists: ISA - DEATH INDEX 1916-1950
Last Name First Name Middle Name Sex/Race Age Cert # Death Date County City Date Filed
MCDONALD SARAH N/S UNK 0000329 1938-12-02 MCHENRY - -
MCDONALD SARAH F/N Y-55 0011412 1942-04-16 COOK CHICAGO - - MCDONALD SARAH F/W UNK 0000302 1943-03-28 KANKAKEE MANTENO TWP - - MCDONALD SARAH F/W UNK 0000118 1943-05-28 FAYETTE SEFTON TWP - - MCDONALD SARAH C F/W Y-89 0000970 1935-01-29 CUMBERLAND GREENUP - - MCDONALD SARAH F F/W UNK 0007791 1945-02-02 WILLIAMSON HERRIN - - MCDONALD SARAH M F/W Y-81 0033702 1942-12-06 COOK CHICAGO
Where was she living in 1929? When was she born? (I'll check on Ancestry for some of these answers, but keep in mind that not everyone has access to the subscription-based genealogy site. More folks may be able to help if they have more vital stats & locations. Thanks)

Sarah was born around 1847, we believe in Walnut. She was found living with her daughter Eva Peterson beginning in 1920 and she was still in their home in the 1930 census. On the 1920 census she stated she was a widow
