Hello,
I am trying to verify that Esora Maria JOHNSON, born 1849, was married to Levi RUSSELL. They lived around Yorktown or Thomas in 1870. Esora went by the name MARIA or "EM" or maybe EMMA.
I found Maria RUSSELL living in her father's household on the 1870 census and Levi living in his brother Frank RUSSELL's household in Yorktown in 1870. I never found them living together. By the 1900 census, Levi had married a lady named Mary PATTEN.
Does anyone know what happened to Maria? Does anyone know where she is buried?
Maria was a sister to W.G. JOHNSON, who was well known around Fairfield. Her father was Loyal Thomas JOHNSON.
