I'm searching for the descendants of Mina and Lloyd Rife. Mina is the daughter of Marcus and Minerva Miller Lyon of Tampico. Her twin sister, Minerva, is my grandmother.
Mina and Lloyd settled in Alabama, first in Mobile, later in Tuscaloosa. They had a daughter, Janet who married Venable Lane Lewis, Jr. They located in Tennessee where they had two children; Veneable Lane Lewis III and Anne Lewis.
Any information appreciated. Sandi Hartnell

Sandi, Have you been to the Morrison, IL library? A friend of mine did an extensive search on the Lyon family, which I am also descended from, by the way. She passed away and her son donated her books to the genealogy section of the morrison library. If you have not looked at these books, they may be helpful to you. Janet
