The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

We need to find good homes for our Tampico High School Trophies. For a small donation, you may take home a THS Trophy. Many years are available. Contact Denise McLoughlin or Ann Martin if you would be interested in these. I will try to make a list of what is available, but it will take a while to do that.

As a junior in 1947 I participated in the oratorical contest and won first place. We did receive a trophy for that and it was on display at the school. If that trophy can be found, I would appreciate receiving it.
