Hallo . I am looking for seven brohers and sisters form Sweden, Rydaholm.Emigrate to USA. Carl Anderson born 1865-08-24 To Usa 1884-03-14 Tampico Emelia Anderson born 1868-01-23 Emig. 1892-03-25 Boston Husband Frans Palm. Anna Andreasdotter born 1871-04-28 Emig 1887-10-21 Chicago Husband Fred Johnson. Ida Anderson born1876-01-15. Emig. 1896-04-24 husband C olson. John Anderson born 1878-08-21 Emig 1895-03-29 Boston Axel anderson born 1881-08-30 Emig 1900-04-18 I beliv all siblings in the end live in Tampico, Galva and Prophetstown. Grateful for help. I have forwarded you message on to the president of the Prophetstown Historical Society, Janet Goodell. Here is her reply:
Hi Denise,
Yes, there are some of us who help with genealogy questions. We talk about them on Sat. mornings, and whoever is best qualified for that particular family does the best they can to provide answers and look up things for the person who is requesting.
We can handle that family. Allen Gibson just died, but his wife and son may be able to provide some information for her. Also, yes, the Lutheran Church is still alive and well. They are in a different building, but just celebrated an anniversary recently. I will print off this information and take it in to the museum Sat. a.m. I will also give a copy to the son who runs Gibson and Son Funeral Home here in town. Some people just aren't interested in genealogy, but we will try to get as much from them as we can.
