I have a grandfather by the name of WILLIAM M.ROBINSON born in Tampico 1879, he also had 3 sisters, Julia, Ethel and ?. Father was JAMES ROBINSON born 1853 in Oswego, NY and mother ELLEN NOONAN who was born Sept. 14, 1858 in Sterling. Also have other members of my family in and around Rantoul with the name of McKOWN who ran a railroad boarding house, married a GEORGE S. MILLER or a SAMUEL MILLER and a schoolteacher by the name of PAIGE These are both sides of one side of my family, they all worked for the railroad one way or the other and all wound up on the same street in Aurora, Illinois. Wondering if they all knew each other through the railroad or neighbors. Any info would be welcome.

Not sure if this is the same James ROBINSON; however, I found this in The Tornado:

April 20, 1906
Mrs. James ROBINSON and daughter and Miss Julia HENRIKEN of Aurora, visited Monday at the home of John HENRIKEN, all returning Tuesday morning.

Hi Les,
That original post suggests that it is a relative of MINE. Feb. 22, 2002 is when I moved the website from the "cityslide" to the "citymax" platform. Neither "citymax" or myself knew what we were doing back then (tremendous improvements since then!). I doubt the person that actually posted that query ever found us at this new site. Hopefully someone will benefit from your transcriptions! Thank you!
